Adventure Books of Seattle

A Media company

About Us

AB of Seattle is 'the small press from the Great Northwest'. We publish hard science fiction and other genres in paperback and hardcover, and produce the sci-fi magazine, 'Escape Velocity'.

All waste from our office is recycled, and we practice sound electric conservation. Books are not printed up enmasse and then stored. They are printed and shipped as they are ordered.

AB of Seattle is creating a special book entirely from comments about severe climate change. It's called 'A Thousand Voices - Thoughts and Articles on the Subject of Global Warming'. Anyone can have their say via our simple webform, and all entries go into the book. Details at: www.adventurebooksof...

Over at Newsvine.com, our column 'Straight Talk' addresses controversial political, social, and environmental issues very frankly. You can see it at adventurebooks.newsv...

When we edit books in the summertime, we don't meet at the office. We go camping in the wilderness, and use laptops.

Our official company motto is 'Don't give up reaching for the stars ... just build yourself a bigger ladder.'
