A Creative company

About Us

In 2001 Niels Peter Flint (NPF) founded the company EXDL (Experience Design Lab, www.exdl.com). The company specializes in developing Sustainable Design Experiences based on innovative ideas and concepts and utilizing sustainably appropriate materials, technologies and services.
Operating from UK and India EXDL opened a showroom in December 2006 in Goa (now only on-line). "In India EXDL develops interior concepts and environmentally sound product experiences which provide a fusion of modern lifestyle and so-called green thinking. No matter what we human beings do, we harm the planet in one way or another simply because we exist, eat and breathe", says NPF.
The main goal of EXDL is not making big profits but enabling everybody to be a bit friendlier to the environment. NPF: "It is all part of trying to redefine what design could or should be. Our products are full of possibilities; they offer various functions, stories and maybe even hidden wisdom." Inspiring people to use their inborn sense of creativity and thus finding enjoyable solutions for today's challenges is one of the objectives of EXDL.

How we see Environmentalism

Everything on the planet, in the solar system probably in the universe is cycling in eternal cycles. Understanding eternity is the only way to cope with the environmental issues.

I try to buy organic foods whenever possible - and the price isn't exorbitant or the carrots looks like a withered Twix.

Buying organics is in most cases paying the real price. Often there is less out puts when you grow organics and more work, BUT no or very little chemical input. However the impact traditional or so-called organic farming has on the earth, us and future economics we can only guess about, but ther eis NO doubt that buying organics today will be a little help towards having not totally polluted groundwater for our kids. If you want to know more about why to buy organics go fx. here: http://web.worldbank.org/WBSITE/EXTERNAL/TOPICS/EXTWRM/0,,contentMDK:21213638~pagePK:210058~piPK:210062~theSitePK:337240,00.html

How can we improve Environmentalism?

How we see Fairness

Being fair to everything since everything is part of anything on the planet - everywhere. Be equally fair to the animals, the plants, the earth as you are to your fellow homo sapiens.

How we see Tolerance

Tolerance is essential for a prosperous and peacefull life on planet Earth. We HAVE TO TOLERATE EACH OTHER and nature and all its beings too. We all have to live here - we all have to die here - we can do it in peace and harmony if we all accept the fantastic diversity that exists on the planet.
