Professor Dr. Christopher Jahns is President of the European Business School (EBS), Wiesbaden/Oestrich-Winkel. In addition to pursuing various growth strategies for EBS (increase in faculty members from 20 to 70, expansion of university network from 20 to 150 partners, and increase of executive education participants from 200 to 6000), a second faculty for law is currently being established to qualify EBS for full university status. A new campus, part of HOLM (House of Logistics and Mobility), is also being established at Frankfurt airport. Dr. Jahns received his doctoral and postdoctoral qualification in Business Administration from the Technical University of Munich. Since then, Jahns has founded the Supply Chain Management Institute (SMI) in 2004, which has grown from one to 20 professors worldwide, educates more than 2000 executives in international training programmes, and maintains offices in India, China and Russia. Since its establishment by Dr. Jahns 6 years ago, BrainNet has developed into one of the leading consultancy firms for Procurement and Supply Chain Management, with 220 consultants in 10 countries. He is also a board member of the German Logistics Association (BVL).
