For every one of the million of products we use to improve the quality of our lives, there are associated environmental, ethical and social consequences. While some products have a small environmental bearing, others consume finite resources in vast quantities and are produced under conditions of labour abuse and environmental damage.
Mater is committed to creating ethical, sustainable and socially responsible design in accordance with the principles of the United Nations voluntary corporate responsibility initiative, the United Nations Global Compact. Mater is a Global Compact participant.
We support United Nations declaration of human rights, United Nations Global Compact and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) fundamental principles and rights at work.
